Summer ⚘ Fall 2018

First Man is opening this week and I couldn't be prouder to have worked on such a beautiful film. I was dialect/historic voices coach for all actors, including Ryan Gosling, Claire Foy, Ciaran Hinds and Jason Clarke. It was a joy to work with Damien Chazelle and his whole team. I had a wonderful time acting this summer in The Book of Will for Theatrical Outfit, one of Atlanta's finest professional theatres. The reviews were terrific and audiences loved us. It meant a lot to me to perform in a play about Shakespeare's acting company, written by the brilliant Lauren Gunderson. I've coached two wonderful shows at the Alliance Theatre this fall, David Caitlin's hilarious A Midsummer Night's Dream and Phillip DePoy's Nick's Flamingo Grill. Caitlin is a member of Chicago's Lookingglass Theatre company, known for their physical and fanciful productions. Here's a photo from Midsummer, produced outdoors at the Atlanta Botanic Garden:

Nick's Flamingo Grill features two of my former students, Cordell Cole and Jimmy Kieffer, so it was an extra delight to work with them again.

Two other films I coached, Burden and Steel Country, are making the festival rounds and doing well. I hope we will be able to see them in theatres soon.
