Winter ⚘ Spring 2018-19

I'm thrilled to see that A Dark Place has just opened in America! I worked with Andrew Scott and other principal and supporting actors on American dialects for this film, shot in the town of Griffin, Georgia, where I grew up. If it doesn't play in your city, check it out on Amazon Prime!

In other coaching work, this winter I had the opportunity to coach voice & dialects for the brilliant Alan Ayckbourne play Woman in Mind, directed by Jackson Gay, produced by the Resident Ensemble Players in Newark, Delaware. The REP is led by my former grad school professor/director Sandy Robbins, and the resident professional company are some of the finest stage actors in the country. I loved working with them, and coaching for Jackson again. Then in the spring I was in Houston to coach voice & dialects for Beth Henley's Crimes of the Heart, directed by the astonishing Theresa Rebeck, at the Alley Theatre. This was my first time working with this terrific company of actors, in the Alley's gorgeous thrust theatre. It felt a little like being back at home at the Guthrie.

As a director, I had the joy of bringing Men on Boats to life at the Gainesville Theatre Alliance where I am a resident director. Here's a link to a lovely review, and some photos:

I've got some great projects coming up next season -- more soon!

thanks for listening!
