Summer ⚘ Fall 2019
This summer I spent some time in New York City coaching London dialects from the 1970's for the extraordinary new musical "Becoming Nancy", directed by Tony winner Jerry Mitchell and featuring Jessica Vosk. It is having it's premiere at the Alliance Theatre before moving on (I predict) to even bigger stages. Here is a lovely clip of Jessica and Lizze Bea, singing the gorgeous song "Night Bus" from the show.
I also spent a month travelling through Australia, with a highlight being meeting Charmian Gradwell, the voice and dialect coach for Australia's Sydney Theatre Company, and seeing Hugh Weaving in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at STC.
I'm currently in rehearsals for the upcoming Aris Theatre production of Marina Carr's "Woman and Scarecrow", playing Woman. I've posted details on my Acting page on this site, if you're interested. The role is incredible, a real challenge and a real gift to play. Please come see it and tell me what you think!
I'm off now, to work on my lines. More soon! Thanks for listening.
